FUND RAISING SUGGESTIONS!

We want to help you raise funds for our project and your club. Let us offer some suggestions and pass along some fund raising tactics used by our home clubs and many other koi/pond clubs that have shared ideas with us. Of course if your club treasury is already rich enough that you don't need this information

We hope you will find some of these fund raising ideas useful. Please let us know what works best so we can share. We also plan to provide AKCA-PROJECT KHV flyers and updates that can be used by clubs in their newsletter, at their local meetings and events to encourage individuals and local koi& pond  professionals to also make donations. 1)   Provide AKCA - PROJECT KHV flyers (see menu above) for clubs to distribute at meetings and other events to promote individual and professional donations.

2) Increase club membership dues by $5 to $10 annually and use part of all of this extra income for a club donation.

3) Include a special space on your club's membership application for members to add an additional amount for

4) Increase show registration fees by $5 per koi or $10-$20 per tank with the additional amount to be used for a club donation to AKCA-PROJECT KHV.

7) Have a club fish auction with members "culls" and/or dealer donations and donate a percentage(50%) to AKCA -

9) Solicit local koi and pond businesses to donate products or services that your club can raffle or auction and donate a percentage(50%) to

10) Designate a club member to become your club's AKCA - PROJECT KHV REP
